Stuck on loading...
I have seen many posts saying Drawboard is stuck on loading page and advice is to reload app or call support.
My issue is that it gets stuck on loading page ONLY if I am on the internet/wifi. As soon as I disconnect then the app loads. It just started doing this yesterday. Nothing has changed, no updates to anything including my browser, my Surface Pro 6, Windows 10. One minute it was fine and now this. Its not awful to get around, but it is terribly inconvenient.
Hi, everyone :)
I have the same problem. The app will not open if I connect to the net. It gets stuck on "checking licenses".
I am afraid it may have to do with having something like 6 or 7 documents at the same time in different tabs. I mean, I only use one of them at the same time, but still, the app may use too much cache, ram or whatever (my computer has 8 Gbs of Ram memory, so it should be more than enough, but...). I think I remember it did not happen when I only had one or two documents available at the "tabs" icon...Hope it helps.
In the end, I cannot be online and open Drawboard, and it happens once and again, so it's probably related to having too many documents.

Finally I found a solution!!
Go to setting->application and find Drawboard PDF and click "advance options".
And you'll see reset button, which will blow away your troubles.
I am having the same problem. Even in flight mode the App is stuck in the load screen.
Have tried to use your proposed solution, unfortunately Drawboard does not start in offline mode either.

Happened again today (28 Aug 2019) - please advise - am trying to do my job here but can't open the sodding software. Getting frustrated....
The user owy already provided the answer!
Block the internet sharing of Drawboard by going to Windowskey: "Allow an app through Windows Firewall" then uncheck the box of Drawboard PDF (and other annoying apps you may find)

Drawboard cannot be opened since the latest update.
Every time I try to lunch it, it closed automatically in the 'loading documents' phase (even there is no document to load).
Purchased from Microsoft store

I cannot open Drawboard. It gets stuck on the loading page. It takes on average 3-5 minutes to load from startup. Please help! Are there any other more stable annotation apps out there?

It seems that this issue happened to both of my computers just after the Drawboard PDF is upgraded to version 22.214.171.124 today.

I have the same problem

I met the same problem. When I upgrade Drawboard to version 126.96.36.199, I can't open the software normally, it stays in the initialization interface.
Stop at "Initializing presentation layer" and cannot open any file.
I am getting a Fatal Error when loading Drawboard. In the Microsoft Store it shows it is updated to latest version.
The error message says "Failed when initializing controllers" and Unspecified Error 0x80004005

The application settings say the program has 0 bytes. Is this maybe why the application is stuck on the loading screen? In any case, how can I fix these two issues (1) 0 bytes; 2) stuck on loading).
I have seen many posts about the loading screen issue, and the solutions have been to uninstall and re-install, as well as the idea of "resetting " the application. The idea of trying a clean boot, or also disabling the anti-virus to see if that is causing a problem has also been suggested by others on the internet, however, a clean boot did not fix my problem, and I am unable to disable the virus protection.
I thought of resetting the application, but it says that it will try to re-install the app after, and it seems that re-installing the application does not work for many windows users because Drawboard came installed on the computer, so to get the full version again the user needs to contact the Drawboard staff with "proof of purchase". What would this proof of purchase be though? Proof I purchase the SP4?
Please let me know what to do. Thank you :)
During saving, I put computer into suspend mode mistakenly. after that cannot launch 'drawboard pdf app' anymore. it keeps being terminated.
